Terms of Service

Adopted: October 29, 2026 · Last revised: November 1, 2026 · Version 1

This English version is a reference translation. The Japanese version is the authoritative text, and it prevails if the two differ.

Scope

  1. These Terms set out the conditions for using Sakuranbo AI (the "Service") provided by 株式会社ALGX (the "Operator"). The Service includes the website, the dashboard, and the API, which relays your requests to models run by third-party AI model providers to generate output.
  2. These Terms form the contract between you and the Operator for your use of the Service. The Privacy Policy and the Notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act also apply together with these Terms.
  3. The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative text. The English, Chinese, and Korean versions are reference translations, and the Japanese version prevails if they differ.
  4. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  5. The Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court, depending on the amount in dispute, has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes about these Terms. If you are a consumer, this does not prevent you from filing a suit in the court that has jurisdiction over your place of residence.
  6. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not limit the rights that the Consumer Contract Act and other laws give you, or the rights that the laws of the country or region where you live give you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.
  7. The Operator may restrict the Service in some countries or regions, or restrict some models, because of laws, economic sanctions, or the terms of AI model providers. You must use the Service in compliance with the laws of the place where you are.
  8. Questions about the Service are accepted at support@sakuranbo.ai. If a dispute arises, please contact this address first.

Accounts

  1. You must be 18 or older to use the Service. Do not let anyone under 18 use your account or API keys.
  2. Before you first create an API key, run a model in the Playground, or make a deposit, you state on the dashboard's confirmation screen that you are 18 or older and agree to these Terms. If you register with a false age, the Operator may suspend your use and close your account.
  3. If you use the Service for the work of a company or other organization, the person who agrees on the dashboard's confirmation screen must have the authority to make that organization follow these Terms. By agreeing, that person represents to the Operator that they have this authority. When these Terms say "you," this includes the organization as well as the person who agreed.
  4. You sign in through the authentication provider that the Operator uses. Keep your registered email address accurate, and manage your sign-in information yourself.
  5. Keep your API keys secret from third parties. Use by anyone to whom you give an API key is treated as your use.
  6. Each API key can have a name, a spending limit (with no period, per day, or per month), and an expiry date, and you can revoke it from the dashboard at any time. The Operator does not store the full key, so it cannot be shown again after it is created.
  7. If an API key is leaked, or may have been leaked, revoke it on the dashboard immediately and contact the Operator.
  8. You represent that you are not an organized crime group or other antisocial force, and promise that you will not become one. If you are found to be one, the Operator may suspend your use and terminate the contract.
  9. The Operator may restrict or suspend your use, revoke API keys, delete generated output, or close your account in any of the following cases.
    • The Operator reasonably determines that you have violated, or may have violated, the acceptable use rules
    • You gave a false age or false registration information
    • A payment is reversed (including a chargeback)
    • It is required by law or by a court or government authority
    • There is another serious reason comparable to the cases above
  10. If the Operator finds a serious violation, such as one involving minors, or fraud, it may close the account on the spot without telling you in advance. If the holder of an account closed this way, or an organization that used the Service through it, tries to register again with another email address or by other means, the Operator may not accept it.
  11. You may stop using the Service and revoke your API keys at any time. Account closure is accepted by request to the contact address. While requests are running or a deposit is being processed, closure may not be completed.
  12. If your account is closed at your request, your unused paid balance is kept without expiring until the expiry date of each deposit, and you may ask to reopen the account during that time.
  13. Even after an account is closed, records needed for accounting, tax, and fraud prevention are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
  14. The provisions on acceptable use, disclaimers and liability, and governing law and jurisdiction remain in effect after the account is closed.

Prepaid balance

  1. The Service is prepaid and pay-as-you-go. You deposit a balance first and pay the fee for each request from that balance. There are no subscriptions.
  2. Balances and prices are in US dollars (USD).
  3. Deposits are made with the payment methods shown on the dashboard's deposit screen. The current payment methods are credit and debit cards, and the crypto assets Bitcoin (BTC, sent on-chain on the Bitcoin network) and USDT (sent as TRC-20 on the Tron network). Each deposit must be at least $10.00, and a single card deposit can be up to $500.00. The deposit screen shows the conditions for deposits by each method, and you check them before you deposit.
  4. Card payments are charged in Japanese yen. The yen amount is calculated at an exchange rate set by the Operator (rounded up to the nearest yen), and the rate and the amount are shown on the deposit screen. This rate may differ from market exchange rates. You check the amount before you pay.
  5. A card deposit is credited to your balance after the payment provider confirms that the payment succeeded. Failed payments and payments whose result is not final are not credited.
  6. Crypto deposits are handled as follows. For Bitcoin, the number of confirmations required, the expiry and the maximum of an invoice, and the tolerance from the invoice amount are shown on the deposit screen.
    • You send the crypto asset that the deposit screen shows, on the network that it shows, to the deposit address that it shows you. Transfers on another network, transfers of crypto assets or tokens that the deposit screen does not show, and transfers to an address other than your deposit address are not credited to your balance.
    • Your balance is credited after the transfer is confirmed on the network. For Bitcoin, a transfer that is not yet included in a block is not credited, and the Operator waits for a number of confirmations that depends on the amount converted to USD and, for large transfers, also for a check against a second data source. For USDT, only transfers that are final on the Tron network are credited.
    • For conversion to USD, 1 USDT is counted as 1 USD. For Bitcoin, an invoice (the BTC amount, the exchange rate, and the expiry) is created from the USD amount you specify on the deposit screen. A transfer first confirmed by the invoice's expiry is converted at the invoice rate: if it differs from the invoice's BTC amount by no more than the tolerance, the invoice's USD amount is credited, and otherwise the BTC received, converted at the invoice rate, is credited. A transfer first confirmed after the invoice expires is converted at the rate when it is confirmed. However, a transfer first confirmed long after the invoice expires may not be credited automatically. In that case, the Operator checks it and decides whether to credit or reject it. If it is credited, it is converted at the rate when the Operator checks it. Balance credited by the Operator in this way is not a free grant and is treated in the same way as a crypto deposit.
    • If a single transfer is less than $10.00, it is not credited automatically. It is put on hold and shown in your deposit history.
    • A transfer is not credited and is put on hold if the sending address is on a list of persons subject to economic sanctions (the SDN List of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury), if the price of USDT is further from 1 USD than a range set by the Operator, if the rate for a Bitcoin transfer confirmed after the invoice expired is further from the invoice rate than a range set by the Operator, or if the details of a Bitcoin transfer do not match between data sources. The reason a deposit is put on hold may not be given to you.
    • The Operator checks each deposit on hold and decides whether to credit or reject it.
    • You bear the network fees for sending a transfer. If an exchange or other service deducts fees from the amount you send, the amount that reaches your deposit address is used. The Operator does not deduct fees from the amount received.
    • Crypto deposits are not covered by the refund of card deposits, and the Operator does not make payouts in crypto assets (as set out in the "Fees and refunds" section).
    • If, after your balance is credited, it turns out that the transfer was reversed on the network, for example by a block reorganization, the Operator may deduct the balance credited for that transfer.
    • USDT and the addresses used in its transfers may be frozen by the issuer. If a transfer does not reach your deposit address because of such a freeze, it is not credited to your balance.
  7. Your balance is managed per deposit, and the balance from each deposit expires 365 days after the deposit. Fees are paid from the balance that expires first.
  8. Your balance cannot be transferred, lent, or exchanged for cash, and it earns no interest. It can be used only to pay fees for the Service.
  9. If the Operator grants balance free of charge, it is managed separately from paid balance and follows the expiry and conditions shown when it is granted. Free balance cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
  10. If the Operator offers a referral program, the Operator grants free balance to referring and referred users on the conditions the Operator sets. If you are rewarded for posts that introduce the Service, state clearly, in a way that is easy to see, that they are advertisements (for example, "PR" or "Ad"). The Operator may cancel grants for referrals through posts without this disclosure, for improper referrals such as referring yourself, and when a referred deposit is refunded or charged back, or a referred crypto deposit is reversed under paragraph 6 of this section.
  11. Requests are not accepted if your balance is not enough.
  12. On the dashboard, you can see your balance, balance that expires soon and its dates, your deposit history, and your usage history. The usage history can be downloaded as CSV.

Acceptable use

  1. This section is the content policy of the Service. It applies to all input (prompts, reference images, and so on) and all output through the API, the Playground, and the dashboard.
  2. You must not do any of the following.
    • Generate, request, or send sexual depictions of minors (including people who appear to be minors), or any other content that sexually exploits children. This applies whether the person is real or fictional and in any style, such as photorealistic or anime
    • Generate or request sexual depictions of real people, including face swaps and edits that remove clothing
    • Generate or request sexual depictions of copyrighted characters
    • Infringe the copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, publicity rights, privacy, or other rights of others
    • Pretend to be a real person. Use output that recreates a real person's appearance or voice to get past face or voice identity checks, forge identity documents or documentary evidence, cheat people out of money or other things, or damage that person's reputation, threaten them, or harass them
    • Generate or send content that is illegal under the laws of Japan, or under the laws of the country or region where you use the Service or where the output is delivered. Promote crimes or other illegal acts
    • Circumvent access controls or usage limits, or misrepresent your age, location, or authority
    • Transfer, lend, or sell API keys to others. Reselling the API as is requires a separate contract with the Operator
    • Systematically collect the models, prices, or catalog information of the Service to build a competing service
    • Place an excessive load on the Service or on the systems of others, or interfere with their operation
  3. If you offer your own app or service built on the Service to third parties (end users), you must make end users follow rules at least as strict as this section, apply age checks and content controls, and provide a way to report content. You are also responsible for use by your end users.
  4. Output from the Service is made by AI models. If you publish generated images, videos, or text in a form that viewers could take as a record of something that really happened or as a person's own words, show alongside it that it was generated by AI.
  5. If you receive output that violates these rules, let us know on the report page by entering its job ID or file URL and choosing the category that applies. Delete the copies you saved, and do not pass the output to others or send the same request again. Making repeated requests so that such output is produced, and passing output you received to others, are treated as violations you committed on purpose.
  6. Anyone can report content that violates these rules on the report page, without an account. The report category "A real person shown without consent" also covers sexual depictions of real people, which this section prohibits whether or not the person consented. Reports involving minors are handled first.
  7. When the Operator receives a report or a notice from a rights holder, or otherwise learns of a violation, the Operator judges it against this section, takes measures such as deleting generated output, suspending use, or closing the account, and records the response. Output that may violate these rules may be deleted without notice. For violations involving minors, the Operator acts before contacting the account holder.
  8. In response to inquiries or orders based on law, the Operator provides the records it holds at that time.
  9. If you disagree with a measure, you can ask for a review at the contact address.
  10. Notices of intellectual property infringement are accepted at the contact address. Include the right concerned, the job ID or URL of the content, and your contact details.
  11. False reports and reports made to harass are treated as violations of these rules. A mistaken report made in good faith will not be held against the person who made it.

Fees and refunds

  1. The fee for each request is based on the price shown on the pricing page and the model's page when the Operator accepts the request. Prices are shown in USD per unit (per 1M input, cached input, and output tokens for text, per image for images, and per second of output for video). Prices may vary with conditions such as resolution.
  2. Listed prices include the Operator's margin. Listed prices and yen charges include consumption tax. No separate fee is charged when you deposit.
  3. Prices may change, for example when AI model providers change their prices. A new price applies to requests accepted after the change.
  4. When a request is accepted, the estimated maximum amount is held from your balance. When the request completes, the actual amount is settled and the difference is returned to your balance. The settled amount never exceeds the amount held.
  5. Requests that fail, are cancelled, or expire are not billed, and the full amount held is returned to your balance, with the following two exceptions.
    • If a chat stream breaks after the model has started generating output (including reasoning output), the request is billed. If the final usage is not received, input is counted at the upper bound used for the hold and output by the amount already generated, so the charge may be higher than the actual usage (it never exceeds the amount held). If you close the connection partway through, the request still runs to completion and all generated output is billed.
    • If it cannot be confirmed whether an image or video request reached the AI model provider, the job fails and the amount held stays held until it is confirmed whether the request is billed. If the amount stays held, contact us with the job ID.
  6. Image and video jobs that are queued or in progress can be cancelled with the API. Cancelled jobs are not billed.
  7. The Operator sends each request to the AI model provider specifying the model you specified, and does not switch to a different model at its own discretion.
  8. Generated results differ each time, even for the same input, and may not meet your expectations. Completed requests are not refunded on the ground that the result did not meet your expectations.
  9. For a card deposit, if you ask within 24 hours of the purchase, the unused part of the balance credited by that deposit is refunded. The yen refund is the charged amount prorated by the ratio of the refunded amount to the credited amount, rounded down to the nearest yen. If none of the deposit has been used, the full charged amount is refunded. Payment processing fees are not deducted. Refunds are processed manually by the Operator.
  10. If the Operator ends the whole Service, it announces this on the website at least 60 days before the end date and refunds the unused paid balance that remains at that time.
  11. If the Operator closes your account, your unused paid balance is refunded. However, the balance deducted under paragraph 16 of this section and the amount of damage caused to the Operator by the violation that led to the closure are deducted from the refund. Where the law restricts refunds, or where the balance is frozen or forfeited under the law, the law applies.
  12. Except in the three cases above and when the Operator cannot provide the Service for reasons attributable to the Operator, deposits are not refunded. This includes cases where unused balance remains, where you deposited too much, and where you changed your mind.
  13. Crypto deposits are not covered by the refund in paragraph 9. The Operator does not make payouts in crypto assets. However, when the Operator rejects a crypto deposit that was on hold or a Bitcoin transfer that was not credited automatically (paragraph 6 of the prepaid balance section), the Operator decides case by case whether to return it to the sending address.
  14. If the deposit history or usage history on the dashboard shows a record that you think is wrong, or your card statement does not match your balance, contact the contact address. When the Operator investigates and confirms an error, the rule is to resolve it by recording that amount in your balance. Balance recorded this way is not a free grant and is treated on the same conditions as the amount that was billed in error. Errors the Operator investigates include, for example, the following.
    • You paid by card, but the deposit was not credited to your balance
    • Your card was charged twice for one deposit
    • One job was billed twice
    • You were billed for a failure that this section says is not billed (one that is not one of the two exceptions)
    • An amount held when a request was accepted did not return to your balance after processing ended
  15. In your email to the contact address, write the email address registered to your account and what happened, and add the job ID for a charge for a job, or the date and amount for a deposit. Do not write your password, API keys, or card number in the email, because they are not used for the investigation.
  16. If you have a question about a card charge, tell the Operator using the steps in the two paragraphs above, and the Operator will check it against its records. Please file a dispute with your card issuer (a chargeback) after contacting us in this way. If a deposit is reversed by a chargeback or refund, the balance credited by that deposit is deducted, to the extent that usable balance remains. While the chargeback process continues, your use may be restricted.

Disclaimers and liability

  1. The Operator does not guarantee the content of generated results (their accuracy, safety, fitness for a particular purpose, or lack of similarity to existing works). You are responsible for checking whether your use of the output infringes the rights of others. This paragraph does not exempt the Operator from liability for breach of contract or tort, and the scope of that liability is set by this section.
  2. The Operator works to provide the Service continuously, but there is no uptime guarantee (SLA). The Service may be stopped or interrupted in whole or in part for maintenance, failures, or reasons on the side of AI model providers. If a service level is separately agreed in writing, that agreement applies.
  3. The models listed on the pricing page and on each model's page are operated by their respective AI model providers, not by the Operator. The rights to the model names and trademarks shown on those pages belong to their owners, and the fact that the Operator lists a model does not indicate a partnership between the owner and the Operator or an endorsement by the owner.
  4. AI model providers may reject requests under their own policies. Such requests are treated as failures and are not billed.
  5. Models may be ended or changed at short notice for reasons on the side of AI model providers. The Operator may also stop offering a model.
  6. The Operator sends your input to AI model providers after checking how the recipient handles it. How input is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
  7. The Operator handles your input (prompts, reference images, and so on) only to the extent needed to process your requests. Specifically, it sends it to the provider of the model you specified and keeps it as processing state only for the period set in the "Retention" section of the Privacy Policy. You allow the Operator to handle your input in this way. This does not transfer the rights to your input to the Operator. You guarantee that you have the rights needed to allow this handling of the text and images you include in your input.
  8. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Operator, the Operator is not liable for damages arising from special circumstances, lost profits, or loss of data among the damages you incur in connection with the Service. This limitation does not apply where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
  9. The Operator is not liable for non-performance caused by reasons not attributable to the Operator (such as natural disasters, war, the enactment, amendment, or repeal of laws, and failures of communication lines or subcontractors that the Operator could not prevent despite reasonable care).
  10. If a third party makes a claim against the Operator for reasons attributable to you (a violation of these Terms or the law, or infringement of the rights of others), you will compensate the Operator for the damages it incurs to the extent of a reasonable causal relationship (including reasonable attorney's fees). If you build the Service into your own service as a business, the same applies when the claim is caused by use by your end users.

Changes to these terms

  1. The Operator may change these Terms in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan. The Operator changes them when the change is in the general interest of users, or when the change does not go against the purpose of the contract and is reasonable in light of the need for the change, the appropriateness of the new content, and other circumstances.
  2. When these Terms change, the Operator announces the new content and its effective date on this page before the effective date.
  3. These Terms show their version, adoption date, and last revision date on this page. The Operator records the version that you agreed to.
  4. For important changes, the version is raised and you are asked to agree again. Until you agree to the new version, some dashboard features, such as creating API keys, running models in the Playground, and making deposits, are not available.
  5. Changes are made in the authoritative Japanese text. Reference translations may be updated later, and the authoritative text prevails in the meantime.
